Since November 2008 we have in function a recycling circle system so none chemical product is put away but every chemicals is recovered through an utilization plant and again used in other processes.

The only types of chemicals discharged in the purification plant are the ones remaining from the washing processing of the machineries. But the water used to wash the machineries is collected and cleaned until to reach the water category class A and then put again in nature.

The two production phases, who requested major attention because more expose to the risk to augment waste in water usage are printing and finishing manufacturing processes.

In regard to the printing process, we could have chemicals waste if there was a bad centre of the non woven on the cylinder used for the printing: in this case we could waste a certain amount of the colouring agent.

That’s why we have adopted a particular method of centre the non woven in the cylinder to prevent any waste of colouring agent.

In the rare case in which we will have a surplus of the colouring agent we will recover it and use it to do another colour.

Even the last phase of the printing process, the cylinder washing, sees the collect and the further water’s purification with final exit of water in class A.

The second critical production phase is the finishing process. Even in this case a system of pumps and filters allows us to recover 100% of the chemicals that otherwise should be dispose and buy again later for future productions.

Our non wovens are fully according to OEKO TEX STANDARD 100 CLASSE IV.

They are according to all the human and ecological lines foreseen in this standard.

In some points our non woven are beyond the standard, as for example regarding the law fixing the maximum formaldehyde’s quantity.

Oeko text says no more than 300 ppm but our non wovens have an average of 38 ppm, reaching in some articles 21 ppm.

We do not use any chemicals beyond the irritating category, all other chemicals potentially more dangerous are not bought and not used.

We have put in hand the 100% of the steps that law require to be according to REACH regulation.

Our long term main goals remain to obtain flame retardant factor through flame retardant fibres themselves and to reduce further formaldehyde’s quantity.

Product innovation is always directed to eliminate, where existing, potential dangerous points.
