The differentiated waste disposal is made inside the factories and finished by external companies who take care of the final differentiated process.

The most important quantity in term of waste is done by mud but the producing of mud has been reduced of the 50 % compared to the past year and the final differentiated process is made by external companies.

In the first six months of the current year the usage of the recycled and regenerated fibres represent the 28% of the total of the fibres used , so for their provision, natural resources like trees etc are not destroyed.

Maintaining same technical performances in the last seven year we have reduced the weight of non woven of the 15%.

This means a reduction in the raw materials consumption and less road traffic with a consequent reduction of carbon dioxide emissions in the atmosphere.

Very important part in the reduction of the production of waste is due to the fact that we have drastically reduced the percentage of the waste due to faulty non wovens: we passed through a faulty percentage of 5.6% in 2006 to a percentage of faulty non wovens of the 2,15% in 2010.

We have in use nylon foil to pack the rolls of the best quality possible to reduce waste’s pollution.

Long term goals are: a further reduced level of mud produced obtained by a better disposal and a further reduction of the waste textile fibres due to the major usage of noble fibres.

Remain untouched the goal to increase the usage of the regenerated and recycled fibres.
